Community Connections

Cornelius Community Garden

     IC Is proud to have a space in the Cornelius Community Garden.  We have appreciated connecting with the Good Earth and with the good neighbors of Smithville and greater Cornelius.  

 

Summer Camp for Community Children

     The doors to the IC House open each summer for one week and welcome children.  We encourage exploration, relationship building, fun, and healthy living.  

 

Homework Help

     The greater IC provides homework tutoring for neighborhood children.  We welcome tutors, snack providers and other helpers.  

 

Free Little Library

     IC proudly created a Free Little Library at the Community Garden and the IC House.  Isn't it great to have children grab a book and know they are a part of an incredible community?

 

Supporters of Ada Jenkins

     Each month we provide a healthy snack to the afterschool program at Ada Jenkins.  We also help stock their pantry with toiletry needs like toothbrushes and toilet paper.  

 

 

Small Groups

We offer opportunities throughout the year on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings (called THE LIVING ROOM) for continued faithful conversation.  These are held at the IC House and anyone is welcome to jump into the conversation and study at any time.  

 

Interfaith Conversations

Our own faith journey is strengthened when we hear the voices of others.  We welcome to the table a variety of faith voices as we engage in true listening and sharing.  Our interfaith conversations are not opportunities to defend or compell but to share, listen, and take faith a bit deeper.  

 

Community Care

Our community is close.  We hold one another up during difficult times and we celebrate with one another during joy-filled times.  One way we stay connected is through our monthly fellowship meals.  Join us at the Inclusion Community House (21235 Catawba Avenue) the first Sunday of each month for a meal, conversation, laughter and fellowship.  

 

ICY (Youth Group)

Our ICYouth are INCREDIBLE!  They meet monthly at the IC House.
